May Madarang is a violinist, community organizer, and cultural worker. Her passion lies in combining art, activism and faith-based organizing to mobilize communities for change. She is the Northeast regional co-coordinator for NAFCON, the National Alliance for Filipino Concerns.  This nationwide alliance of Filipino organizations, institutions, and individuals respond to the concerns of Filipinos in the US and in the Philippines by creating an action-oriented platform. Grounded by NAFCON's pillars: culture & heritage, education, health & wellness, and advocacy she unites people to collectively support each other and in turn, she draws daily inspiration.  She's eager to serve and has a deep love for our kababayan both here and back home.
