Thanks to all of your support, we have raised $4,495 to support 10 deliveries between Filipino small businesses and frontline healthcare workers in New York City.

Since Easter Sunday, we have been making weekly deliveries to different healthcare units in NYC. Every week, we partner with a Filipino restaurant to bring food to frontline workers. This is a labor of love by our volunteers, and 100% of the funds raised in April will go towards the ten deliveries we have committed to through June.

This work has already taught us more about the immediate needs of the most vulnerable in our community—not only the frontline workers, nor the small businesses, but the domestic workers and the undocumented. Donations made from May 2020 onward will go towards these greater efforts of offering nourishment, comfort, and healing to our Little Manila community.
